Submitting content

By submitting an event or photo you confirm it is yours to share (or that you have permission), and that it contains nothing unlawful, offensive, or infringing. You keep ownership of what you submit; publishing it here grants us a licence to display and distribute it on this website and during LA7E AT NIGHT livestreams and related channels.

Photo gallery — other people in your photos

If someone else is recognisable in a photo you submit, you confirm you have their permission to share it with us for publication. We automatically strip location and other metadata embedded in the image file itself before it is stored, but we cannot detect or moderate every person visible in a crowd photo — if you appear in a published photo and want it removed, use the removal link in the submitter's confirmation email or contact us directly.

Event listings — accuracy and safety

Event details (time, venue, coordinates, organizer name) are supplied by the submitter and published as-is once approved; we do not verify that a listed gathering is safe, official, or still happening. Contact the listed organizer, not us, with questions about attending a specific event.

Moderation

All submissions are reviewed before publication. We may edit, decline, or remove any submission at our discretion, and we do not guarantee that a submission will be published.

How published content is used

Approved events and photos may be shown on this website and featured during LA7E AT NIGHT livestreams and related channels. Every submission's confirmation email includes a personal removal link that lets you take your content down yourself at any time, without needing to contact us.

No warranty

The site and its eclipse calculations are provided as-is for general information. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not responsible for weather, travel disruption, or anything else outside our control.

Eye safety

Observing the Sun without ISO 12312-2 certified filters can cause permanent eye damage. Timings, weather odds and viewing advice on this site are estimates and must not be treated as a substitute for certified equipment and your own judgement on the day.

Analytics and privacy
